In your browser
Long Shot saves your game, streak and stats in your own browser's storage so you can pick up where you left off. That data stays on your device. Clearing your site data deletes it.
Counts we keep
The site sends small anonymous events (a page was opened, a game was started, finished, shared or rated, a score) so we can count players. They carry no cookie, no name, no IP address and no ID: only the flags your browser keeps for itself (first visit today, played before, the last day you played, the link that first brought you), your country as reported by Cloudflare, and whether you are on a phone.
If you type your email into Long Shot's sign-up box, we keep that address and the link that brought you, and use it only to email you about Long Shot and The Gravity Report. Ask us to delete it at any time.
Tips
The "chip in" button opens a payment page run by Stripe. We never see your card number. Stripe tells us the amount, the time and the name or email you give it. See Stripe's privacy policy.
Advertising
Long Shot may show one ad at the end of a game, served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can turn off personalized ads in Google's Ad Settings, and read how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent first through Google's consent message.
Hosting
The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes requests to deliver pages and protect the site. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
